The kids were very excited to start back to school today!! There were a few butterflies in the tummies though. . . Ashley wondered if she would remember everything she learned in Kindergarten and if she was ready for 1st grade (she was born ready!!). Justin wondered if he would be up for the challenge of 4th grade (mommy wonders if she is up to it too!!- projects, homework, homework, more projects!). Emily had some anxiety when she realized she had forgotten her color coded schedule at home (how would she remember which class to go to next???- mom and dad to the rescue with a spare). Elizabeth- well - no butterflies there! she acted like she owned the place and was just happy to finally be back at her home away from home - and with a bunch of friends :0).
